Wales were to be back to their best in this game with an exciting 5-3 win over Denmark.
Sion Cox and Elis Annett were in superb form, scoring two goals each, while Dan Sion popped up with the other. Captain Wayne Anderson, who was also covering for unavailable manager Neil Dymock, turned back the years in defence with a performance which defied his age, keeping Denmark at bay when they threatened to come back into the game. Michael Hillard, Meurig Parry, Gareth Walton and Nathan Davies all had excellent games, while Richard Swain and Ryan March provided an outlet for Wales when under pressure from the hosts.
Wayne said after the game "It was a good all round performance and made up for the poor display in the Ireland game. A special mention to Evan Williams who had 4 assists today and was outstanding alongside our goalscorers. Hopefully we will have Michael Charlish back soon and have a few fresh legs on the bench. At 51 that was a tough for me. Thanks to Owain Young at Shwldimwl for sponsoring our shirts for the game".
