Venue: Baku, Azerbaijan.
The Wales supporters team bravely faced the humid climate of Baku in a match against local Baku team Bailov Rovers, the day after Wales had drawn against Switzerland.
After a solid start, an injury to their talisman, Perry Morgan, after 21 minutes turned the game. The injury forced Perry to immediately leave the field while the score was still 0-0. He went in search of some ice for his swollen ankle but without their charismatic leader, and a now sorely depleted defence, the team succumbed to a 7-1 defeat.
No further details of the match available yet as Perry provided the report but was unable to return to the stadium to report on the rest of the match. He was later found in a bar which had given him some ice for the ankle, but got lost on the way back. Thankfully his injured ankle has made a remarkable recovery.
Niall Haughey scored the Wales goal on his debut for the Wales Fans team.
